Wheatland is a nonprofit. Gifts and volunteers cover what client fees do not: government filing fees for families that cannot pay, interpreters and a lawyer's hours.
We do not take online payments yet. To give, call either office or mail a check, and we will send you a receipt.

Give
A gift pays a family's filing fee or an hour with an interpreter.
Interpret
Speak Somali, Vietnamese, Karen, K'iche' or another language? We need you for first conversations.
Host a night
Invite us to your church, break room or school for a know-your-rights talk.

Tell a friend that a first conversation is free and in their language.
